Reduce Your Carbon Footprint While Increasing The Resiliency Of Your Infrastructure Roads
Design and build with confidence; we empower you to achieve cost-effective, proven, engineered solutions. Fueled by an innovative spirit, our industry-leading technology solves the toughest soil stabilization, earth reinforcement, and site development challenges.
We are proud to partner with Tensar, the world leader in geogrid reinforcement technology, to bring you the best possible solutions for your toughest geotechnical challenges.
How Do Geogrids Contribute To Sustainability?
Reduce Consumption of Aggregate
The ability of geogrids to reduce the thickness of gravel layers is well understood. Reduction in aggregate leads to fewer trucks on the road and potentially less cost and fill requirements on site.
Extend Road Service Life
The long-term creep and chemical resistance in geogrids allow the designer to extend service life and reduce the maintenance requirements of their built infrastructure.
Faster Project Completion
Often geogrids can be relied on to keep your project on track when the weather turns and soils begin to soften, otherwise slowing down progress. Geogrids also deploy quickly and connections are made with a simple overlap in most cases.
Additional Features
- Can reduce the thickness of fill materials
- Improves soil stability
- Greater load-bearing strength
- Reduced stress on subgrade
- Interlocks with fill materials
Tensar InterAx™ Geogrids
InterAx™ geogrid combines coextrusion and advanced material science with an optimized geometry to dramatically improve soil interaction and trafficking performance, giving you more flexibility in your aggregate choice.
Tensar TriAx® Geogrids
TriAx’s multi-directional properties leverage triangular geometry to provide greater stability and stiffness. Its ability to efficiently confine aggregate reduces installation costs while improving the overall performance of the structure. (Only available in Canada)
Tensar Biaxial Geogrids
Biaxial geogrids are used in base reinforcement applications such as roads, storage yards, and parking lots. The reinforcing action lies mainly in increasing the shearing resistance within the soil by interlocking between the square ribs and the soil.
Tensar FilterGrid (NXFG, FG30 etc)
Tensar’s FilterGrid™ solutions combine the superior performance of Tensar’s InterAx® and TriAx® technology with the added assurance of a non-woven geotextile — all in a single composite product.
Quikgrid™ Biaxial Composite
The composite nature of the QuikGrid™ makes it easy and fast to install and effective in maintaining the separation of imported granular fill from the fines contained in typical saturated base soils.
LBX series Biaxial Geogrid (PP)
The reinforcing action of LBX Geogrid products lies mainly in increasing the shearing resistance within a soil by the process of interlocking between the square ribs and the soil.
Product Details
Geogrids are geosynthetic materials used for soil reinforcement, road construction, and other applications in civil engineering where reinforcement and separation are required.
